Release of the Museum’s collaboration beer “Great Canal Collapse” with Willow Rock, a number of special events will be offered.
Willow Rock will be hosting a special happy hour starting at 6pm. Then at 6:30pm a special presentation by Museum Educator Derrick Pratt will examine the 1907 collapse of the Erie Canal over Onondaga Creek, which inspired the new beer, followed by a discussion with Willow Rock’s brewers on the making of the beer, and finally the unveiling of the Erie Canal Museum’s 2022 summer cycling programs, with special discounts available those in attendance. Museum staff will continue to be available to discuss history, beer, bicycling, or anything else for that matter until 8pm.
Admission to the brewery is free with a cash bar. Food will be available from Salt City Smokehouse. We hope you can join us for this fun night of history, beer, and friendship
